Let Them Be Kids

Let Them Be Kids is all volunteer non-profit organization created to build community capacity on the grassroots level, while building playgrounds, skate parks and fitness parks across Canada. These projects leave a legacy of community members who are inspired and better equipped to lay a strong foundation for a brighter tomorrow.

Rideau Vista Public School Background

Rideau Vista Public School's focus is to build a Community Playground and Outdoor Fitness Park and possibly add other features to the yard and school such as safety mats in the gym, a school sign, an outdoor classroom, landscaping, and a possible trail linking the school to the North Crosby Community Hall.

For more information on how you can help, please call the school at 1-613-273-2842 or email nicole.scott@ucdsb.on.ca

A little girl with a BIG heart

Maclayne asked her friends to give money instead of gifts for her birthday this year. She donated $435 to the playground. She demonstrates what our project is all about- giving for the good of giving and not expecting anything in return. She is a ripple in the wave of kindness at Rideau Vista.
